The Healing

With my hands, I pen these words,

For I have finally healed my heart.

Jealousy I felt falls away,

And what remain is love.

Blessed is my life full of joy,

And pain I know no more.

For lifetimes, I have longed for this,

In moments of silent and calm.

For my prayers have been answered,

With the Divine to guide me along the way.

As I watch lovers embrace,

I only remember warmth and tenderness.

No bitterness or resentment stays,

Paving the way to peace and hope.

I know in my heart I will feel this embrace again,

For love’s grasp is never far away.

The future is full of light and beauty,

That I have not fully uncovered.

For all the world is my oyster,
