Yesterday, I interviewed a sexual predator, and this is what I learned. In every sexual predator, there is addiction driving their predatory behavior because this is how they are hard wired. On some basic level, they know what they are doing is wrong, but their egos create justifications and explanations allowing perpetuation of this behavior. As I interviewed this man, I can feel his energy and his thoughts trying to convince me of what he has convinced himself. When others lie to us, they are actually lying to themselves and trying to convince us of this lie.
I have always been interested in the minds of sexual predators as I was preyed upon by my father. Sexual predators have certain commonalities. They never learned healthy sexual boundaries as those boundaries were never established with their parents. They were emotionally, physically, or sexually abused in their childhoods, and the sexual predator behavior may be learned as that is what they may have experienced. As as result of this childhood trauma, the sexual predator has extremely low or no self esteem. The trauma also caused them to become stuck at the emotional age they were traumatized causing many sexual predators to only relate to children, young adults, or other adults with emotional injuries. The sexual predators that I have interviewed frequently prey on this target group.
How do we spot a sexual predator? Frequently, they are charming and can be emotionally sensitive because they use this method to sense their prey’s weakness then use this weakness against them to seduce them. They are essentially con men or women showering their prey with attention, praise, accolades, and gifts. This is extremely effective since their prey are usually children, young adults, and other adults with emotional injuries. When you meet sexual predators, they are not in love with you, so beware and reject their advances, as rejection is their worst fear and usually they will move onto their next prey. ~ Blessings, Brooke (Copyright 2013 Kundalini Spirit with All Rights Reserved)
