I was having a conversation recently with a friend about how life is an echo that is what we send out comes back to us. This is our karma. That is why during my emotional healing process, I have begun to take responsibility for my actions and behaviors by apologizing to those I hurt in my life, and by changing my hurtful behaviors. I no longer lament about how I am always victimized in my life, and how everyone mistreats me. I too have been responsible for hurting others as we are all human.
All 12 step programs require us to take responsibility for our actions and behaviors by making amends with those we hurt. This is what I have begun to do in my life. When I react negatively to others, this is my karma, even if others have hurt me. By forgiving ourselves and others, we begin to change the patterns of behaviors in our lives.
Instead of hurt perpetuating hurt, we forgive ourselves and those who hurt us that is a form of unconditional love. Once we begin to take responsibility for our lives that includes our actions and behaviors, we begin to change the patterns in our lives. When we change our behaviors and actions to positive ones, then the echo that comes back to us are positive behaviors and actions. May you find positive echos coming back to your life, Brooke (Copyright 2014 Kundalini Spirit with All Rights Reserved)
