Before my awakening that began my spiritual journey and ascension work, I did not believe in reincarnation, karma, past life experiences, soul life, etc. Although my family religion is Buddhism, we never practiced any religion in my home, so I considered myself an atheist or agnostic, but now I consider myself spiritual with no religious affiliation. Since the rise of my Kundalini energy, I have had past life memories, have experienced karmic debts from past lives, and met soul connections from those past lives.
All this was a lot for me to take in as these experiences turned my life upside down, and shook the core of my belief system. I realized during these experiences that we each have life scripts that we live from lifetime to lifetime. These life scripts are intended to help our souls grow and mature through life lessons. These life lessons help our souls evolve to higher levels of being, and in our physical human forms, we change our beliefs, behaviors, and ourselves. In turn as we each change, we begin to change our world, and this is part of our human evolution.
This revelation for my own life has helped me understand the purpose for my existence on this earth and why I have been going through so much hardships in my life as I have been sent so many people who hurt me and then I must leave them or they leave me. These are my life lessons to learn how to stand up for myself by setting healthy boundaries, heal my emotional wounds, and by overcoming all this hardship, my soul evolves to a higher level of being. I become wiser, kinder, more compassionate, more loving, and hurt and pain no longer rule my life.

Very interesting indeed. I’ve also read lots about past life stuff and another theory that pops up is that we sometimes play the opposite role of what we have played in the past so that we can truly understand our actions and their effects.
