Traveling is a way for me to get perspective on my soul life. I believe I am meant to be a traveler in this lifetime as I seldom settle down in one place, and am always looking for my next destination and adventure. My soul seems to yearn for this. When I travel, I learn about myself, my past lifetimes, and what truly nourishes my soul. My soul needs to connect with others of different cultures, beliefs, and perspectives.
I learn through these connections with others that we are more alike than we are different. I know that my soul wants to find where it has been in the past, and the countries that I had lived. In this lifetime, I am of Chinese decent. Although I was born in Taiwan, China, I ended up in the United States after immigration here with my family. I have a past memory of my life as an American woman who lived in the 1800’s in the U.S., and also have a past memory of myself as a young American Indian child. Therefore, I know that I have past life connections to North America.
As I visit Barcelona, Spain now, I have feelings about being a Spaniard, and that I was a man and a glassblower. Glassblowing was first found in Merida, Spain as early as the 4th Century A.D. When I began glassblowing about three years ago, I had a specific feeling that I had done this before although in this lifetime, I have never blown glass. I am serving as an apprentice now for a professional furnace glassblower, and have taken classes at the Penland School of Craft, and Corning Museum of Glass in both furnace glassblowing and flameworking on a torch.
Although I am not a skilled artisan, I believe that my past work as a glassblower was more of a glass factory worker. So I continue to seek my past lives, and to understand my soul. ~ Brooke (Copyright 2014 Kundalini Spirit with All Rights Reserved)
