For the past four years, I have been pursuing the spiritual ascension process. I have observed that there are consequences when we do not live and behave at our highest during this process. Infidelity (whether sexual, romantic, or emotional), deception, denial, coercion of others for their money, and any other negative behaviors cause great detriment to our lives.
It is as if we are held to a higher standard as we are awaken souls and should know better. During the ascension process, our hearts must be pure and we must live at our highest. There appears to be serious consequences to our actions, such as loss of finances or employment, divorce, estrangement with our children, imprisonment, and other life altering problems.
Many do not associate their problems with their own actions, by blaming others, situations, unnatural causes, or even the alignment of the stars, but the truth is, it was caused by our own intentions, behaviors, and actions. There is no one else to blame, but ourselves. Changing the course of these results require introspection into our deficiencies, our contribution to these failures, and our own emotional wounds, and then by taking affirmative steps to change our intentions, behaviors, and actions.
