I’m an empath…I identified it incredibly early in life. I was that child who felt the pain of others. Intensely. I became the person who sacrificed everything about myself to spare the pain of others.
But I was also the person who would feel overly excited because of the happiness of others and every other amazing emotion, too.
It’s a lot to handle when you can not only feel what others are feeling but you take on those emotions. I am just now allowing myself to experience it again after an incredibly painful existence that I needed to shut my empathic nature down just to navigate through.
