Our hearts are filled with love, but that love cannot surface and manifest in our lives until we let go of our past hurts, heal our emotional wounds, and change our behaviors in our present lives. After we go through the hard work to transform our lives, we finally accept ourselves, love ourselves, and gain the capacity to love others.
I have heard those in the spiritual community say, “Treat others as you would like to be treated,” but if we loath ourselves, we do not have the capacity to love others. This is what I have observed. People live with self loathing, fear, anger, and rage caused by their emotional wounds from their past and present lives. They become hateful, abusive, manipulative, and cruel. Hurt people hurt people, and that is clear to me now.
In the past, I wanted desperately for others to love and accept me. Now, I realize that I do not need everyone to love and accept me as I already love and accept myself. In fact, I do not want acceptance from abusers, cheaters, liars, offenders, philanders, etc. and do not want to vibrate at the same frequency as I do not want to attract these individuals into my life.
For these individuals, we send them love, but we move along on different paths. When we no longer vibrate at the same frequency as them, we will no longer attract them into our lives, and we then know that we are moving forward in the right direction. Agreed…BUT, in order to fully learn from such experiences and move past them, it is also important to accept that those still learning difficult and painful lessons are Divinely Created as well. They are simply at a different stage of learning and each is on his or her own spiritual journey of discovery.
All are loved, just as we are. When we can learn to treat them with compassion and understanding, we will overcome a very difficult challenge and significantly further our own progress.
I have to admit that I find that a “tough nut to crack ” and I struggle with it every day! But I am learning–and still learning to be grateful for the lesson.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and wisdom with me that is much appreciated. I do not believe everyone we meet is aligned with our souls and maybe they are not intended to align with us. I believe we send them love and move along on separate paths. We can love them, but we need not accept their negative and destructive behaviors as part of our lives as I share Wayne Dyer’s perspective in the link below. Blessings of peace and love. https://serpentguide.files.wordpress.com/2016/01/wp-1452155459512.jpeg“

Absolutely! That’s the beauty of free will. We can each choose different paths. What a wonderful gift that is!
And so, by the way, is your blog! Thank you so much for sharing.
