Have you ever wondered what decisions to make for your life or which direction to move forward? How do you know you have reached the end of one road and it is time to turn onto another road? I have found signs along my path on my spiritual journey. Sometimes, it is staring us straight in our faces, and we just need to see it.
I was at my cross roads recently, and did not know how best to move forward. Then, I was confronted when two choices fell on the same day last week forcing me to make a decision. I believe that I made the right decision as everything since then pointed me in one directions. Frequently, if we are aware, all the signs will point to a particular direction, and your choice becomes clear.
I also have come to realize that I completed my path in a particular direction, and it is time to make a turn onto another path. When this happens, we experience closure in our lives, and this is what I experienced. This closure ends in love and forgiveness. While on our journey, we come to understand and accept what happened to us in our lives, and then we let it go through forgiveness of others who injured and hurt us. This closure is a sign that we have completed this part of our journey, and moving forward means turning onto another road.
As I travel on the yellow brick road of life with my friends and companions, I watch for these signs. At the end of each yellow brick road, we send our love after forgiving those who injured and hurt us, and we move forward onto the next yellow brick road of life.
