The Steps to Transformation

I had several people recently request help.  I decided to write a post instead responding to each person individually because the advice is the same.   First and foremost, others do not help us, we help ourselves.  This is how it works.  We must first make an intention that we want to change our lives, instead of staying stagnant and stuck in our current life situation.  After making this intention within ourselves, we must take action.

The problem that I see with many who say they want things to change, but simply do not take action to make this change. For example, if you are concerned about being unemployed, you need to apply for jobs.  If you are unhappy with your relationship, you need to make plans to leave this relationship.  If you are dissatisfied with your current job, start looking for another one.  You get the idea.  Making excuses about your circumstances will not help you move forward, but keep you stuck in your current circumstances.  Action moves us from victimhood to empowerment.

Victimhood is the worst place for human existence.  When we believe we are a victim, we remain a victim, and others treat us like a victim by continuing to harm, take advantage, or abuse us.  It may be difficult to accept, but it is the truth.  I was a victim for a very long time, and my life was a miserable mess with drama, abuse, sexual assault, and chaos.

While you are changing your current physical circumstances, you must concurrently begin healing your emotional wounds, release your ego, and begin to listen and be guided by your higher self.  Healing your emotional wounds will allow you to build your self esteem and worth, accept and love yourself for who you are, and allow you to choose and engage in healthy relationships with others.  Please click on this link for “Emotional Release Practice.”  Learning to release your ego will help you cope with fears and negative thinking during this transformation or ascension process. You will guide yourself through this transformation or ascension process by your higher self.  Please click on this link for “Accessing the Higher Self.” You do not need to rely on others for your transformation.  Many have been guided by gurus or spiritual teachers who themselves are still emotionally wounded and have failed to release their egos.  They practice spiritual by-pass and interact through and teach their student this harmful practice, and some even sexually and emotionally abuse their students.

Rely on your own instincts and trust your inner voice, because the true power is within you.  Believe, have faith, have hope, and you shall free yourself.  Sending healing love and blessings to you. (Copyright 2016 Awakening Journey with All Rights Reserve)

  1. Thank you for this important post Brooke. I love the parallels of what we write about. 🙂 Action is really key…I think many of us do affirmations and law of attraction thinking things should be magnetized to us without action – and we maybe think that action can work against us. It’s finding that sweet spot of being still and trusting our higher selves, and taking action from that place. So much of my action has been motivated from survival and wanting to escape. And that hasn’t worked super well! Much love, Aleya
