I have come to understand that all humans have rage, but just in differing degrees. This rage is the result of unadressed accumulated painful or traumatic experiences over the course of many soul lives. Rage can be expressed outwardly or inwardly, or a combination of the two.
I have observed many who turn their rage inwardly toward themselves. They self mutilate and harm, such as cutting, suicide attempts, substance abuse, anorexia, addictions, etc. Other turn their rage outwardly by harming others, such as verbal and physical altercations, physical and sexual assaults, destruction of theirs or others possessions, instigation conflicts, etc.
Earlier in my life, I exhibited turning the rage toward myself through self harm as I was so depressed and anxious that I had suicidal thoughts and addictions, but I also exhibited anger outwardly as I instigated conflicts, started verbal altercations, and destroyed possessions. I am not proud of my past, but I acknowledged and confronted my reality in order to change these negative patterns in my life.
When I am around others who exhibit these behaviors now, I provide resources and support to them when they request help and assistance. However, the majority of the people I encounter still are in deep denial and in deep slumber. It appears that awakening is still very far off for them because of their fear of the truth. I also believe that those who are Kundalini active still may remain in denial, as the rise of Kundalini energy does not equate to awakening or enlightenment as this energy merely provide the potential for awakening or enlightenment.
It has been difficult for me as I help those who ask for help, but I also move on from those who remain in denial. I believe that my energy is better served to help those who are on the cusp of awareness and transformation, but my energy is simply wasted on those who wish to remain in denial. It feels like bashing my head against a brick wall over and over again. I try to send these people love and healing energy from afar, but I choose to move onto those who really want and accept my help for their transformation.
During this holiday, I wish for peace, love, and awareness for all of humanity. May we heal ourselves and our world. Sending blessings of love, peace, and joy to you! (Copyright 2016 Awakening Journey with All Rights Reserved)
Yes! So many times… It’s difficult to allow them to be exactly where they are, as they are, but it’s useless to try to help someone who isn’t ready. It took me a long long time to get to a place of allowing and acceptance. I’ve found that there are people who are in denial, totally unconscious, harmful to others, and yet they are in their own spiritual alignment. Meaning how they are is precisely how they are meant to be in that moment. This realization humbled me and I stopped trying to fix or change anyone. Despite what we all hold to be true about the evolution of humanity, it is not my place at all to know what another person should or shouldn’t do or be. I try to focus only on my own growth (and setting boundaries/accountability with people who cause harm). One other thought: I’m so glad to hear someone else say that kundalini rising isn’t awakening. I’ve been coming across a lot of people who are in the process (and/or claim to have completed the process), but remain totally unconscious and in denial (they are narcissistic and abusive even). I still wonder how those things are meant to work together… xoxo.

My understanding about Kundalini energy is that it only creates the potential for awaking and emotional healing. The emotional healing and consciousness raising must be done just like for everyone else. It is not a magic bullet. Many Kundalini active people still suffer from active mental illness and denial while others have used spiritual bypass to skip over releasing their egos and emotional healing completely. Blessings on your journey!

I am sharing some articles I read or wrote about the Kundalini Recovery Process as the Kundalini energy can accelerate the emotional healing process but the emotional healing work still must be done: https://serpentguide.wordpress.com/kundalini-recovery-process-the-stages/ and another article on spiritual bypass: https://serpentguide.wordpress.com/awareness-of-spiritual-bypass/

Thanks! I reviewed those a while back and found them very helpful. Through intuitive downloads Kundalini gave me a framework for guiding people through the process; and for assisting those who suffer from severe kundalini syndrome. I’ve written about it on my site. It appears though that there are some people who can just bypass the healing and get through the kundalini process (meaning the symptoms stop or go away entirely after a while). And there are others who can’t (who are in tremendous pain until they figure out how to do the healing/inner work). One of the questions I’ve been wrestling with is that there are people who have psychological disorders which don’t allow for self-awareness, and yet those people are kundalini active – how is that possible? I can’t seem to make sense of it. Presuming that activation isn’t an accident, that Kundalini is divinely intelligent, why would it activate in people who don’t have the capacity to transform their consciousness…

My understanding is that Kundalini energy can be activated/raised through different means. Some use Shaktipat from Kundalini active “gurus,” some use psychotropic drugs to activate, and then others raise the Kundalini energy through Kundalini yoga or meditation. Therefore, I believe it can be activiated accidentally or intentionally. Many are not ready to do the emotional healing and consciousness raising work as they remain in active illness. As a result, they may still suffer from Kundalini syndrome or learned skills to cope with it.

Hi Rebecca, the key is to get to the root of the rage. My rage came to the surface when my Kundalini energy rose. My rage resulted from my childhood abuse. What the Kundalini energy does is to force the rage to our awareness and full consciousness. It is a good thing. Sending love and light!
