Call to My Mission

About five years ago at the time of the rise of my Kundalini energy, I was called to a mission to help sexually assaulted students on a college campus that had no such required and federally mandated program.  I accepted this job in Appalachia, and worked there for five years to build and establish a system to protect victims/survivors and addressed violence on this campus.  I came to love these people and cared for the vulnerable on this campus.

Recently,  I moved to California to take on the same mission with another university. As I proceed on my mission, I realize that they are getting more difficult.  At this university, I have not met any friends or even many allies to build a healthy sexual assault program for our students. Their egos continue to control and create fear that I am getting too powerful or that I will succeed in my mission.

As I recall reading about the mission of Mother Theresa who aided and cared for the dying and destitute in India, she too faced opposition and fear from the Indian community that a Christian nun should not be caring for their sick and dying.  She was unwelcome and faced opposition from the Indian community.  She wrote long letters to a bishop about her struggles and pain of isolation.

My struggles are very much the same at my current university as they are not taking care of their own, and my  presence is the reflection of their neglect and indifference.  As such, they blame my office and me  for attempting to help this vulnerable population.   With each day, instead of things getting better, they are getting harder, because I am uncovering the true problems at this university.

As with any mission, it is only God who will witness the toil and hard work of our efforts. In the end, that is the only thing that truly matters.  For each student I assist, I help another soul to heal and evolve, and that is my reward. Each day, I pray for help and guidance from the Infinite, and the strength I need to carry on.  God sent my twin soul to support, love, and help me move forward.  As he says, “Onward.”  (Copyright 2017 Awakening Journey with All Rights Reserved).
