Transcending Ego

I want to share with you the results of my ego release work in the past several months.  These results are nothing short of amazing to me.  The process is gradual over the course of the ego release work.  When I first began ego release work, my external stimuli such as a person or event would trigger my painbody or emotional wounds.  Negative emotions would rise up quickly, such as hurt, anger, resentment, jealousy, envy, indignation, etc.  I would immediately respond to these emotions and act out on them.

As I progressed in my ego release work, the same scenarios would occur, but with daily practice, the responses or reactions to these negative emotions became less and less.  As time went on when my negative emotions arose, I can immediately identify them as my ego’s negative emotions.   Then, I sit with these emotions for just a few seconds while in moment.  I do not react at all, then these emotions simply dissipate.  I find that I was able to response and react very calmly and rationally in the situation without being negative.

Recently, I can feel the negative emotions arising less and less, and instantly identify ego’s negative emotions if one does arise, and immediately stop from reacting.  The entire process becomes almost instantaneous and automatic now.  For example, when I am with authority figures or those who I love in my life, my painbody is easily triggered due to my emotional and abuse history.  When these individuals in my life criticize, yell, or judge me, I can feel the ego’s negative emotions rising quickly. Recently, I am feeling the negative emotions arising less and less, and if one does rise, I simply identify the negative emotions that dissipate, and I continue on without feeling any negativity.

  3. Wonderful words! When I remember that I am part of everything around me, all negative emotion begins to look and feel…silly. If we aren’t laughing yet, then we still didn’t get the joke.

    1. Hi Jamie, I am so sorry to hear about this internet censorship in the U.K. Free speech is an inalienable right given to every American under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Without free speech, there can be no true democracy as we have seen in many countries around the world. There is great fear of imprisonment, and even death as it happened in Communist countries such as China, Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge, Vietnam, among others. What can be done? Are protests planned or other forms of peaceful opposition? With concern, Brooke
