In our pursuit of happiness,

We seek true love.

We look for this love,

In others, from others.

We seek this,

From one relationship to the next.

Bewildered that others cannot fill,

The hole in our hearts.

To make us whole,

We seek another to complete us.

For it is easier to seek this love without,

When this true love can only be found within.
