The Secret to Transformation

During my recent transformation, I have had an opportunity to observe the secret to change. Why do some people transform so quickly while others are stuck in their same patterns of behaviors for many years even when their Kundalini energy is awakened?  The key is our intentions.

Let me explain.  When we are faced with adversities in our lives, we have a choice to make.  We can continue to struggle with the same problems over and over again or we can choose to change our behaviors in order to experience a different outcome.  The difficulty is that we must give up something we have become habituated and even pleasurably familiar.

For instance, if we are facing sex, drug, alcohol addictions, we must give up the pleasures from these addictions.  If we have become familiar in using charm, manipulation, and dishonesty in obtaining what we want in life, we must give up the pleasure from the high in obtaining that which we want. If we have been abused or mistreated, we have become habituated to the familiarity of pain, chaos, and drama from these experiences.

In our quest for transformation, we must give up something pleasurable or familiar feelings. Breaking these patterns of behaviors mean giving up these pleasures and familiarity. Those who cannot give up these pleasures and familiarity will remain stuck in the same emotional state or condition experiencing the same difficulties and crisis over and over again in their physical and soul lives.

The way out of this negative cycle is through our intentions.  The first step to transformation is giving our sincere and genuine intentions to give up these pleasures and familiarity for a different life and outcome, and we must change our habituated behaviors that perpetuate this cycle.  For example, if we have sex, drug, or alcohol addictions, we must give our intentions to give up these addictions, then begin to change the pattern of behaviors associated with these behaviors, a form of emotional and mental rewiring.

There are specific triggers that begin each of these addiction behaviors, such as rejection, failures, or low self image.  Instead of resorting to sex, drug, or alcohol, we begin alternative behaviors, such as exercise, journaling, meditation, playing or writing music, creating art, dance, or other constructive ways of coping that you may enjoy that you can do or access instantly.  I hope you find this helpful for your transformation.
