Energy for Healing

In my search for emotional healing and spiritual growth, I have been trying different modalities of healing, including yoga, meditation, Chi Gong, Reiki, reflexology, acupuncture, psychotherapy, art therapy, music therapy, therapeutic massage, movement/dance therapy, and others.  I will try anything once, and decide if that modality or therapist is right for me.

Recently, I had a session of breath work through bioenergy under the theory of Mietek Wirkus with a certified therapist.  I was really excited about trying bioernergy as I believe I need to do some energy work that my body needs.  When I began the session with her, I felt a blockage in her solar plexus chakra, and it is hard blockage.   I also felt that she was very closed in her energy field, and work largely through ego rather than intuition.  I have decided to discontinue sessions with this therapist.  Reading other’s energy fields or auras is like an x-ray or MRI scanning for broken bones or physical injures except without the high tech equipment. This is not a judgment of this person as I believe this therapist is a kind and caring person.

During this session and afterwards, my intuition told me to stop bioenergy work with her, as I did not feel a connection with her.  As you may be aware, when we share energy fields with others, particularly through healing work, we can take on the energy of the therapist. This is called countertranference.  In any modality of healing work, it is important to sense the energy field of the therapist, counselor, or instructor.

Our auras or energy fields radiate out from our bodies for about four to five feet. The closer we are to other’s energy fields, the more we can take on the energy in their fields as we share their energy. The more frequent exposure we have to their energy fields, we also are more likely to take on that energy.  Have you heard people saying spouses or close friends begin to behaved similarly, finish each other’s sentences, and start thinking alike?  This is caused by sharing energy fields regularly over long periods of time.

I have been observing those I interact with now in my life, and pay close attention to my energetic, emotional, and physical reactions to them.  If I don’t feel attracted or connected to them, it is because our vibrational frequencies no longer align.  If I do not feel this connection with them, I cannot heal from them either, as I will become stuck in my emotional recovery and spiritual growth. The truth is that energy doesn’t lie. We can coexist with many people, but we may not necessarily be able to receive healing from all of them.  Infinite healing and love, Brooke (Copyright 2014 Kundalini Spirit with All Rights Reserved)

  1. Hi Jamie, thanks for all your insightful thoughts and sharing your experiences. I too am still finding my way for the best energetic, emotional, and physical healing for me without going backwards as far, if at all possible. What I have noticed is that I get stuck with wrong modalities for me or therapists to work with me, so I am trying to keep moving forward through mindfulness and awareness of my choices. Ego is a tough one for all of us, and I am struggling myself with releasing my ego. It will be released when I am ready to let it go is my feeling. Good luck with your healing process. 1. Kundalini energy feels out of control particularly during its rising, and it took me about a year of working tirelessly everyday to stabilize it. Others I have spoken with have taken longer, but for immediate relief, you can practice grounding work through acupuncture, yoga, Chi Gong, therapeutic massage, music/art, walking in nature, listening to quieting music, sitting or lying on the earth, and others. Refrain from meditation, Reiki, or other forms of energy work until your K energy has stabilized. However, it was only after I began practicing emotional release and releasing ego that have allowed me to remove the blockages in my chakras and painbody in my energy field to experience true healing and peace. 1. I mean heat stabilized in the energy field after about one year. Take a look at the Stages of Kundalini Recovery Process for time frames at this link: https://kundalinidotorg.wordpress.com/kundalini-recovery-process-the-stages/
        Hope this clarifies. 🙂 Brooke

        1. Hi Jamie, There were certain foods that did not taste the same after my Kundalini energy rose, so I stopped eating them and added other things I never enjoyed eating before. Here is information about diet with active Kundalini at this link: http://biologyofkundalini.com/article.php?story=kundalinianddiet
          Hope this helps! Brooke
