PATHWAY TO JOY AND HEALING

Life can change very quickly, when we least expect it.  One day, we can have a certain life, and the next day that life can be completely different. This is the case at my job.  Last March, my supervisor suddenly announced her retirement.  This was such a shock to me as I never expected her to leave, but she was encouraged to do so.  She made my job very difficult and sometimes impossible providing no support, staff, or a viable budget, and regularly threatening to terminate her subordinates.  We are seeking her replacement now, and hope to select someone this November.

I have observed this happening all around me, where I see people living a lavish or powerful life, then one day all this suddenly changes.  I believe this is caused by the Law of Karma or cause and effect.  What you put out into the world returns to you in like.  What I have observed about these sudden changes is the result of cause and effect.  The way we treat others is the way we are treated.

Ironically, I have forgiven her and let go of any resentment or anger towards her. I feel that she has created a difficult and painful life for herself, and she must live with her own karma.  As for me, I will be free of her physically in the near future, and also have set her free emtionally from my life.  May you find forgiveness and set yourself free.  (Copyright 2015 Awakening Journey with All Rights Reserved)
