PATHWAY TO JOY AND HEALING

As we walk this earth,

Souls lost and wandering,

In the forest of despair,

Through suffering and pain.

Lost in illusion and hurt,

Facing obstacle after obstacle.

We are truly lost,

When we don’t know we’re lost.

Have you wondered,

“Why is this happening to me?”

Ego is the great illusionist,

Telling us what we want to hear,

Blame others,

Deny the truth,

Turn a blind eye.

Awareness is its great enemy,

As we are wounded within,

And this pain is within us.

Allow our awareness,

To help us face these wounds,

On our path to the truth,

That is not far beyond.
