
During the Coronavirus epidemic, staying conscious is so crucial to our physical and mental health. The fear and panic that is raised during this time can cause us to become physically run down and emotionally distressed. During this period of isolation for many, I intend to use this time for self care, emotional healing, and introspection. This is the perfect time to contemplate about our inner life, particularly when most social and public events are closed or postponed.
I use Emotional Release Practice to handle the overwhelming feelings of fear and panic with each new media coverage of viral spread and more cases of Coronovirus victims. I recommend restricting social media and news media coverage that will help reduce fear and panic, but keep updated on the CDC or State Public Health Press Releases. Using this time wisely by spending time exercising, making healthy meals, reading a good book, clean your house (finally), making art, enjoying music, enjoy the outdoors, and of course, quality time with your loved ones! Using Reiki therapy from a distance, and spending time outdoors and with your pet companions are good ways to boost your immune system against the virus.
This period of time does not need to be negative, depressing, or morbid. It gives us the opportunity to take care of ourselves, slow down, and do the things we never have time to do! This is one way of living consciously that transcends beyond our human fears. Take care during this time. Sending health, healing and peace to you!
