PATHWAY TO JOY AND HEALING

Up to this point on my spiritual journey, what I am learning is about myself.  When I speak about knowing my truth, it is knowing this truth about who I really am, the good, the bad, and the ugly.  Much of what I have learned about myself is that my ego has blinded me to those parts of me that have hurt others, or that is less than pleasant or desirable.  My ego has convinced me that I am a good person, that others will always like me, and if they don’t then it is them not me.

The truth that I have uncovered is that whenever I face a conflict with another, it is more about me than them.  When we come to this realization, we begin to change our inner world faster and faster as we have changed our perception of our world allowing us to have awareness about ourselves.  Awareness of ourselves and knowing about ourselves is the beginning step to making serious changes within our emotional landscape.

I also know deep within myself that I can have a different life with less conflicts, more peace, and deep compassion for others without being dishonest or passive. I will begin to find this incredible balance in dealing with others that I have struggled with for most of my soul life.  This belief that I have this ability within is important in helping me transcend and overcome my past, my unresolved emotional issues, and my life to one with less suffering allowing me to live a more authentic spiritual, emotional, and physical life.  May you find your way to a more authentic life.
