PATHWAY TO JOY AND HEALING

Recently, I joined a free Reiki club at a local college where a faculty member serves as an adviser to students and community members who gather together weekly to learn the practice of Reiki, a form of energy healing. I went to club meeting because I wanted to understand the old karmic pain that I have been experiencing in my heart chakra that is blocked, and the cause of this pain.  This is what I discovered.

During my first session of Reiki, one of the senior members performed an attunement process on me.  I sat in a chair and was told to relax taking deep breaths. She stood behind me for several minutes placing her hands a few inches away from my body.  Within a few minutes, the practitioner took my hands in prayer above my head, then a few seconds later, lowered my hands in prayer to my heart center.

When she raised my hands in prayer above my head, I began to see a vision of a Native American pueblo structure.  Then I saw into this structure, and observed a shaman or medicine man performing a ritual with smoke above the body of a young woman.  This woman was apparently very sick or dying, and after a few seconds, the spirit of this woman rose above her body and left her body. Then, I heard the practitioner say to me, the attunement is complete.

Initially, I thought this woman was me.  However, when I awoke the next morning, I realized that this young woman who passed away was my mother from another lifetime.  I felt that she died when I was very young, and have held this pain in my heart for all these lifetimes.  My current heart blockage is caused by my experiences from this past lifetime.

Knowing this about my past life explains so much about my fear of abandonment as I lost my mother when I was very young, and maybe too young even to remember her. In this lifetime, my fear of abandonment has been my greatest fear overwhelming my life and causing paralyzing fear within me.
