PATHWAY TO JOY AND HEALING

For a long time, I believed that if I changed my external world, my life would be peaceful and happy, and I would find and live the life of my dreams. During my spiritual journey, I have found the exact opposite to be true.  When we change our internal world, our external world will mirror our internal state of being.

I hear from so many in my life of trying to change their jobs, their partners, and their environment, and somehow they will finally find the utopia that they have dreamed.  Well, I did exactly that by moving from relationship to relationship, moving from place to place, and changing from job to job hoping to find this utopia.

I never found this utopia until now.  After a four year spiritual journey and changing my internal landscape, I finally have found this utopia, and have discovered that it is where I am now.  This peace, happiness, and joy exist within me, and not externally.  No jobs, career, partners, or friends can bring us abundance, love, peace, and joy if we do not possess these within ourselves.

I believe that our failures in our lives whether in our relationships, endeavors, education, or careers are our warning signs of internal problems within our emotional landscape.  Until we own up to our internal problems as this is our truth and reality, we will not succeed in our lives externally with rewards and gifts of abundance, joy, love, or peace.  May you see your truth and reality.
